How it works
Hot seat: WASD / arrows to move, click or hold to shoot. Survive 90s (or kill the Crowd) and your name goes on the wall. The Crowd can't cross the dashed line. Cornered? Run the outer rail.
Everyone else: you are the Crowd. It moves toward the average cursor of everyone who moved their mouse over the arena in the last ten seconds; the status line counts them as steering. Watching without moving does nothing.
Voting FIRE: click anywhere in the arena to vote. A volley launches when enough votes land within one second, and it aims at the average of those clicks. "Enough" is one fifth of the people steering, at least one, so with up to five steerers a single click fires. The meter reads FIRE votes / votes needed: "1/1" means one vote cast of the one needed, not one person. Each volley spends a charge; charges refill over time.
On a phone: drag a finger over the arena to steer the Crowd and tap to vote FIRE. In the hot seat, the left half is a joystick and touching the right half aims and fires.
Chat: press Enter to type. Hover a line to report it. Three reports mute someone for 30 minutes.
Practice crowd: alone in here? The red card summons a practice crowd: phantom cursors that steer the Crowd as one more voice and fire at whoever is in the hot seat, so you have something to fight. A run never starts against an empty room: with nobody in the Crowd the countdown waits until someone comes to watch or you summon the practice crowd. The footer says PRACTICE CROWD while it is in. Dismiss it from the same card; it also leaves by itself once two people are watching. It never counts as a watcher.
Thousands of cursors average to the middle. Coordinate or lose.
